We’ve scoured the statistics and found that the two groups have distinctively different preferences. Foreigners tend to prefer condos near Orchard, probably because this shopping belt is well known the world over and they want to be associated with its prestige and luxury.
On the other hand, locals are more open to other parts of the top three districts, such as Bukit Timah, Novena and the Holland area. This could be because of the other amenities available in these areas, such as famous schools, F&B outlets, medical centres and closeness to nature.
